Antique Emerson ceiling fan nose piece. This part is where the speed coil and switch are to be mounted. There is no switch included. The speed control coil is present. But I do not know if it is any good. Someone painted it gold at one time and it has been stripped but traces of gold paint still remain. One of the four plug screws is missing as pointed out, these would be removed if light sockets were added to the fan.
