Antique 1915 Westinghouse Whirlwind Fan Brass Cage/ Wings 17Inch Works 3 Speed. The fan works when starting high to low but if you plug in on low first wont work it has a new cord and cage has been painted. Was going to restore this fan but decided not to. It has a new cord but probably wasnt wired right considering that statement above but IT DOES WORK IF YOU START HIGH TO LOW unless thats how the fan was made but i dont know alot about these. Cage and blades were painted gold like. The cage frame needs 2 new bolts replaced see pics where cage frame attaches. Maybe other problems that i dont know about there please look at pictures carefully.
