This mid-century modern classic will bring style and grace to your home. It works great, bringing form and function to any room you choose to place it. This fan is original. It measures 17 inches tall with a 12-inch blade, 13″ cage, and 9″ front to back. The entire body has been primed and repainted using oil-based Regal Red paint on the motor housing, Piano Black on the base and blades, and Harbor Blue on the cage. The fan blade is plastic and balanced for smooth operation. The cord measures 6’8″ (80″) in length and is original. The bottom of the fan has new felt and felt disks to protect the surface of wherever you place it from getting scratched. The higher speed moves an amazing amount of air and is relatively quiet for something built more than 60 years ago. The lower speed moves a lot of air and is remarkably quiet. View the photos carefully, as what you see is what you will get, although I think the fan looks better than the pictures show. I took two photos of the fan turned on so you can get the effect of the oscillation function. The cord leading from the base to the motor was slightly frayed in two places, so I wrapped it in electrical tape, but the wiring is great. You may judge the look for yourself from the photos, but the tape is barely noticeable. Please remember to keep your fan away from small children and pets, as the cage was not designed to protect little fingers or paws. Oil the fan with a light grade lubricant once a year. Also included is a 13-page copy of the original instruction booklet that came with the smaller 10-inch fan Westinghouse used to sell. I have tried, but been unable to find a copy for this model fan, but I’d say 95% of the information is the same. It’s fun to look at the old illustrations. I take pride in my business.
