This mid-century modern classic will bring style and grace to your home. It works great, bringing form and function to any room you choose to place it. The fan can be swiveled an amazing 180 degrees. This fan is original. It measures 14 inches tall with a 10-inch blade, 12″ cage, and 8″ front to back. The entire body has been primed and repainted using oil-based Hunter Green paint on the motor, Harbor Blue paint on the fins and Piano Black on the base. The fan blades are aluminum and are so balanced that it takes a full 38 seconds for them to stop rotating after the fan is switched off! Good old American craftsmanship at its best! The cord measures 72 (6 feet) in length and is original. I replaced the plug with a mid-century modern replica. The bottom of the fan has new felt to protect the surface of wherever you place it from getting scratched. The fan moves an amazing amount of air and is relatively quiet for something built more than 60 years ago, so you are getting exceptional form and function. Please view the photos carefully, as what you see is what you will get, although I think the pictures do not capture the real beauty of this fan. Please remember to keep your fan away from small children and pets, as the cage was not designed to protect little fingers or paws. Oil the fan with a light grade lubricant once a year. Also included is a 13-page copy of the original instruction booklet that came with the fan. I have tried, but been unable to find a copy for this fan, but I’d say 95% of the information is the same.
