Here we have like out of the crate new a fully restored Emerson “BIG MOTOR” 27666 six brass blade 3 speed oscillating fan. This is the rare hard to find big motor Emerson 3 speed oscillating fan. Blades measure a total span of 12 across tip to tip and the fan from the base to the top of the cage measures approx. Adjustable knurled oscillator turn wheel on the bottom of the gear box lets you adjust the fans sweep back and forth from a stand still to full oscillation or anywhere in between a very nice option indeed. This fan has had the works top to bottom. Fan was completley taken apart down to the last screw. All cast iron parts bead blasted to the bare metal then primed with a high grade automotive primer topped with several coats of high gloss diamond black automotive paint with hardener to maintain the high gloss for many years to come. All brass high polished and clear coated to help prevent premature re oxidation. All new screw in wire grommets in the motor and base as original style. All new old style headwire from the motor to the base, New old style twisted power cord and new antique style plug. Gear box was all cleaned out and a high quality bearing grease added for superior gear lubrication. Last but not least a new black base felt cover to prevent any marring of surfaces you might put the fan on. Sure to be the center piece in any room you place it in. A ton of hours went into this fan to achieve the results you see before you. Don’t confuse my restorations with other so called restorations that consist of a quick wipe down with a dirty rag and maybe a replaced power cord and they call it restored. Seen it many, many times. I have restored these brass fans for 30+ years with tons of satisfied customers. Do not operate around small children or pets. Should be put up high enough so that children and pets cannot get near the running blades. This is a very, very heavy fan. Thanks and good luck.
