Heavy and large antique Robbins & Myers model 1153 three speed oscillating fan for restoration. 13 inch diameter solid brass cage and brass blades. Very original with original paint. This is a 3 speed fan that rotated back and fourth very well and quickly which was very nice and very quiet. It is complete with the original paint and brass components. Flag is a brass reproduction like original. All screws are included. There is a trace of the original pin stripe that originally went around the motor. This is a pretty scarce and very early Robbins & Myers model from the early 1900s. This was a wonderful and very reliable fan till recently when it just stopped working. Motor was removed and a. Repair shop said it was bad. I see no breaks in the winding wires anywhere, but apparently there is a problem somewhere in the motor. The speeds switch should be fine, but no guarantees please. Motor is removed which should help restoration. The repair shop was not into antique fans, so I hope someone that knows fans and appreciates this early model can get this beautiful old fan running again.
