Antique 1906 Westinghouse Electric & Mfg. Patented Dec 26, 1893. October 9, 1906 For your consideration today, fresh from a local Denver estate, is this rare 1906 Westinghouse Electric fan. Beautiful lines, perfect as is with minor electrical restoration, or for a steampunk art project or other full restoration! Style Number 115676 The wingspan of the blades is 16 inches in diameter. Fan is very powerful and runs well , moving a lot of air around. Sounds like a plane taking off! Smooth and quiet once it’s running at full power. Original plug, I suggest the new owner rewire this. Nice Brass fan blades with cage and screw caps throughout the piece. Will polish up well.’Westinghouse” in black letters on a silver band attached to brass cage. Right now, fan oscillates 90 degrees. Might need an adjustment to oscillate the full 360 degrees. Missing vertical vane blade (originals can be sourced online and are reproduced as well). Some small areas of rust throughout, on base and on one bracket. One screw missing from black bracket. VERY heavy fan est. 25 to 30 lbs. Please let me check weight and invoice you once I know your zip code BEFORE paying.
