This is a handsome little art deco fan by the General Electric Company. It starts and runs well. It’s quite powerful for a fan of its age and size. There’s a little bit of a knocking sound as it runs. It has some imperfections to the paint on the body (see photos). There is a break to the cage, which has been repaired with a small bit of plastic (see 4th photo). I’ve given the cage a fresh coat of paint so it blends in with the repair and you can hardly notice it now. Please have a good look at the pictures to ensure you’re happy with the condition – I can always provide more photos if desired. It has had a modern rewire at some stage, but if you’re going to use it as a practical fan, I’d recommend it getting it PAT tested or checked over by a professional electrician.
