This is a 1930’s GE 45X548 desk fan. It has been completely restored. It has been stripped to bare metal, rust 100% removed inside and out, primed, finished in a pearl white, and clear coated. All hardware is original and has been polished by hand. Gears have been cleaned, old grease removed, and gears packed with new grease. Oil reservoirs cleaned and filled with new oil. Fan blades balanced, and run quietly. All old wiring removed and replaced with new. New vintage style plug added, (black). Fan is one speed but oscilates perfectly and moves air well. It has been tested for 30 hours straight with no issues. I left the cage polished steel, but clear coated it so it won’t rust. This fan was originally olive green. I kept that color on the emblem out of respect to its origins. This is a beautiful little fan. You won’t find one like it.
