Per a Mathis site I found. Fan is in good working condition. Can certainly use some additional cleaning, but would be really nice if sanded some and stained, but many people want the original look so I have left as is. As per noted below, heavy, solid oak frame. Rare design with the louvers positioned as they are. Each can be turned to move air where you want it. Below stated this was Model 492 and showed the exact picture, but I could not read the Model number on the fan. Made in Texas, back in the 1940’s VINTAGE 4 BLADE MATHES 4 SPEED COOLER / FAN Fan oak cabinet is in a Modern Danish design and measures 21-1/2 x 21-1/2 x 11 deep. The fan weighs 35 lbs..
