Antique Westinghouse 516873-A Four-Blade Fan Three-Speed c. 1920 Works
This is an Antique Westinghouse Electric Fan, Model 516873-A, that dates from the 1920’s. The fan comes from the estate of a local Collector. The fan starts, runs, and oscillates, as it is, but it would benefit from some lubrication and maintenance. The cord has been replace and is in Very Good Condition. The only things I can tell that are missing are two of the bolts that secure the mounting arms of the “cage” to the motor housing. Without those two bolts, there is enough movement in the “cage” that the blades tap it with each rotation. I have listed it as “Working” because the motor spins the blades, and the fan oscillates, despite the two absent bolts. Please look over the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. This may mean removing the “cage” to consolidate size of the packaging.
