Rare Nickel Plated Antique Fan. Star Rite Fitzgerald MFG. Cage diameter measures 11″ base diameter measures 6″ Condition is Used, for parts, not working. As is, as seen in the photos, untested. For parts, display or restoration. It is considered to be a little 10 inch, 4-blade stationary electric fan from around 1930’s to pre-1950’s era. The Star Rite nameplate was made in the USA by Fitzgerald Manufacturing Company located in Torrington, Connecticut. Designed for use on desk top or wall mounted. The head pivots 90° from straight up vertical to horizontal. This Star Rite fan has it’s original nickel plated finish. It shows some issues slight rust and pitting on it’s surface, as can be expected on a 60-90 year old antique. It’s a non-oscillating model.
