Westinghouse 16 Direct Current Motor Oscillating Fan. I removed the Stator and cleaned it and Varnished it with clear insulating varnish. Replaced the head wire and the power cord with new cloth covered cord. Removed all the old grease in gearbox and replaced. Cleaned oil cup and cleaned wick and replaced with fresh oil. Low is surprisingly mild and pushes a good amount of air and isn’t loud. Medium is strong and High is ridiculously strong. It appears it has been repainted over the original paint at one time. Cage and blade are brass. Blade is straight and true and the cage has no breaks and is also straight. This is a really nice Direct Current fan. IT CAN NOT BE PLUGGED INTO AC OUTLET!! It has to have a bridge rectifier installed either inside or create a small extension cord with a bridge rectifier installed on it. This is what I do to run my direct current fans. I have a couple available if so desired. Ask any questions and I would be glad to send more pictures. I left the blade and cage with the original patina but if you prefer polished brass I will include that in the price. See the other fan on my page to see the polished results.
