This fan was manufactured by the Dominion Manufacturing Co. Of Mansfield, Ohio which was in business from the late 1930’s to the mid 1950’s. It is a Model 2020 and circulates 1,000 cu. At least that’s what the 1950 advertisement said. This fan has been stripped down to bare metal, carefully repainted, and clear coated. The cage has been cleaned of corrosion and clear coated. The motor has been fully disassembled, cleaned, and relubricated. All the hardware is original (except for a few lock washers). The cord and plug are new, and the label is a very nice repro. The fan is very quiet at both speeds and oscillates nicely. I love these fans, because they were made well and with a little TLC, will operate flawlessly for decades. Yes, you can put your fingers through the cage, so it’s not OSHA compliant, but if you’re an adult, that won’t matter.
