Rare Nickel Plated Antique Fan. Star Rite Fitzgerald MFG. The fan does run, sparking in the motor. Cage diameter measures 11″ base diameter measures 6″ Condition is Used and working. It is considered to be a little 10 inch, 4-blade stationary electric fan from around 1930’s to pre-1950’s era. The Star Rite nameplate was made in the USA by Fitzgerald Manufacturing Company located in Torrington, Connecticut. Designed for use on desk top or wall mounted. The head pivots 90° from straight up vertical to horizontal. This Star Rite fan has it’s original nickel plated finish. It shows some pitting on it’s surface, as can be expected on a 60-90 year old antique. It’s a non-oscillating model.
