Vintage 4 Blade Antique Fan Cast-Iron Base? Great looking fan in nice looking vintage condition a nice sweaty look. The oscillating mechanism has some damage/issues as well. There is a piece of the casting broken off, but that part could be replaced. Fan run strong and switch works in all three positions The cord is decent but the cloth wire between the base and motor has some light fraying and should possibly be replaced by the new owner. I believe the blades on this fan are a very early plastic or as there is some chewing at end of the few of the blades. Last patent date listed on the fan is 1923.
