Antique 16 Brass Blade GE Loop Handle 75425 Oscillating Fan – Works. Fan has been tested and works in all three speeds but, when first powered on, the fan runs at a slower speed and slowly builds up to top speed over the next few minutes. The fan has been tested with regular but short intervals over the last couple of weeks. It has not been allowed to run for more than 10 minutes straight at any one time. There is some vibration when the fan is at the highest speed. Oscillation is working at a slow and steady speed that may or not be normal for this style of fan. The tilt head mechanism works. The power cord is not the original power cord and it is frayed at the point where it enters the fan base exposing some wiring. There are also two smaller wires under the motor housing that have been worked on and have some fraying. There is at least one bolt that looks like it’s not original where the cage attaches to the motor housing. The fan has heavy aging wear, most notably the overall rusting and paint loss as seen in photos. There are some small white-ish spots on some of the fan blades as seen in photos. These spots are most likely paint splatter. Please examine all photos. Message with any questions or for additional photos.
