This offering is for an original antique General Electric Fan. The fan features brass blades and some of it’s original green paint still in place. The fan runs very nicely on all three speeds with a distinct difference between each speed, however the oscillator does not work and looks to be a replacement. The original brass tag on the front of the cage has a large script GE. The brass tag on the base reads “OFF HIGH MEDIUM LOW TYPE AOU FORM 12 NO F 13 099 9 SPEC 272148 CAT 75423 VOLTS 110 CYCLES 60 GEN ELEC CO USA”. The fan measures app. 16 in overall height to the top of the cage, the cage itself measures app. 13 in diameter, the blades measure app. The green painted finish has typical overall wear that includes chipping, fading and some areas of loss, there is also some surface rust on the areas where the paint has been off for a while. The cord and head wire are both poor replacements. If additional photo’s are needed or you have need of answers to questions we do not address we will be happy to supply them. WE USUALLY SEND OUR INVOICE WITHIN 1 HOUR OF THE AUCTIONS ENDING. The item “Old antique vtg 1920’s General Electric Fan 12 Brass Blades No 75423 Working” is in sale since Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
