This offering is for an original antique Western Electric Fan. The fan features both brass blades and cage, please note that there is no cord on the fan so I don’t know if it works or not. To be on the safe side consider it NOT WORKING. The original tag on the front of the cage reads WESTERN ELECTRIC ALTERNATING CURRENT FAN MOTOR 100-120 VOLTS 100 CYCLES STYLE NO V-165236A SERIAL NO. 774823 PATENT OCT 9, 06 SEPT 6, 10 DEC 6, 10 OCT 1, 12 AUG 11, 14. The fan measures app. 16.5 in overall height to the top of the cage, the cage itself measures app. 13 in diameter, the blades measure app. The brass has not been cleaned or polished in years and we will leave the decision to do so or not to the new owner. The black painted finish has typical overall scattered wear that includes chipping, fading and some areas of loss most notably around the base edge, there is also some surface rust on the areas where the paint has been off for a while. Also note that the base plate has two small holes through the outside holes holding it on rather than screws up through the bottom as is usually seen.
