Wonderful GE Brass Blade Fan. Marked with Patent Aug. 13, 1895-June 25, 1901. This 18 tall fan works on all three speeds! For being well over 100 years old it is impressive condition with all original parts. There is, of course, some wear to the black of the base; however, there is still a lot of glossiness left. The brass has a wonderful patina! There is some fraying to the fabric of the cord. The original instructions are still attached to the bottom of the fan. The cage to the blades is 13″ across and the blades are 12″ across. It is incredibly heavy at 24 pounds. Because this piece is so old….
