VINTAGE EARLY ANTIQUE RACINE WISCONSIN BRASS ELECTRIC 12 DESK FAN. FROM INSPECTION THE CAGE AND FAN BLADES LOOK LIKE BRASS BUT SEEMS THEY WERE ORIGINALLY PAINTED BLACK, AS THEY STILL ARE (EXCEPT FOR SCRATCHING). THE CAGE IS 12″ DIAMETER AND THE TOTAL HEIGHT IS ABOUT 16″. IT MUST BE EARLY AS THE SERIAL NUMBER IS 3820. THE CORD IS IN POOR CONDITION. I BELIEVE IT IS THREE SPEED AS IT SEEMS TO WORK ON THE THREE DIFFERENT SPEEDS. I HAVE NOT USED THE FAN FOR 20 OR 30 YEARS, SO I LET IT RUN FOR 4 OR 5 HOURS AND IT STILL SEEMS TO RUN FINE AND DOESN’T OVERHEAT.
