This Edison/ General Electric Slo Speed Motor was found about a year ago, when I was helping my grandparents move out of their old house. According to my grandfather, he had gotten this from a college he used to teach at back in the 1950’s. He said it was considered an antique then, but never knew what it was. I uncovered it in the back of a cabinet with a thick layer of dust on it. It looks to be in great condition, but unsure if it still works. The wheel still spins, but I don’t know what else is needed for it to function. Specs: Weight: 14.8 Pounds Height: 9.5 Inches Base Width: 7.5 Inches 7.5 Inches wide from the back of the shaft to the other end where the brass housing is attached.
