Antique Western Electric Company Fan Brass Blade Cage 3 Speed WORKS
I have not attempted to clean this fan except just to wipe the dirt of it. Much to my surprise, the fan does run! I would highly recommend replacing what appears to the the original cord and plug. Data plate says “western electric alternating current fan motor 100-120 volts 60 cycles “. Style number is W165252A. In very small print it appears the patent date is 1910. I would assume the manufacturing date would be soon after that. There does appear to be some soldering repair work done on the fan cover, although it looks like it was done a long time ago. If you have any questions or want me to look for further information, please let me know. If anyone has information to share, I would be grateful.
