No water damage or corrosion – even on the bottom plate. I don’t think this fan has ever been stored; it’s always been in someone’s living room. I found this fan about 20 years ago and cleaned it extensively. I took the motor apart and polished the armature. It runs like new. Nothing is out of balance. It’s quiet and smooth. It clearly has never fallen off a table. All three speeds work properly. The switch is tight. The oscillating mechanism works perfectly. It’s VERY HEAVY. The fan itself weighs 22 pounds.
