Early 1900’s General Eletric Prepayment Fan
This is a really neat old vintage electric fan. Especially interesting because it is a coin operated fan probably used in hotels, etc. Manufactured by General Electric the fan original required a nickel to operate. The fan works wonderfully but the coin operation has apparently been disabled—-the fan runs great. Great piece measuring 18 inches high and cage is 13 inches in diameter. Brass blades and cast Iron base. Needs cleaning and restoration but I a great piece. P# 17482 On handle and tag- A7711.
