Fan runs has a new cord I believe it has variablec speeds. As you could see the cage has a little bend in it also the brackets that hold it in placeare gone. Last patent date on label is 1910. I was told that the bend is not actually a bend but a design of the fan to allow the fan to be moved up and down without hitting the blade.
