The fan has the old original cord from the 1920’s or 1930’s era and the cord is in good condition. The end of the cord has a hard bakelite plug which is marked Belden CHICAGO by the metal prongs. On the center of the cage fan it has a metal 1 ½ circle. On the circle it has the name Century MADE IN U. 110 VOLT 60 CYCLE MODEL 311 CENTURY ELEC. The cage fan is 9 across and is in good condition. The back thickest part of the wire cage at the very bottom the wire has been curved up from the factory. The cage fan is 1 7/8 thick between the front thinner wire and the back thicker wire. The fan body including the stand retains the majority of its original black paint. Some of the black paint has worn off the fan blades. Runs smooth as silk. It has one speed and the switch works to turn it off and on. There is a wing nut where you can adjust the head to tilt backward or downward. From the bottom of the base to top of the cage it is 12 high. The bottom of the base is 5 ¾ and has a corduroy cloth padding.
