Nice early bipolar Bates motor. Really has a beautiful look to it and it’s still in nice condition. Great looking I’d tag with a very low serial number. I really don’t know the weight on it but maybe 600 lbs? It’s big but still manageable.
This is kind of an impossible to find part if you need it. I have seen a couple of empty motors sell but unfortunately not to me. So here’s a rare opportunity to get an original field winding if you need or want one. Ask questions if you have any.
