The Gustavian style piece is finished in a … Read more Vintage Home is pleased to present this lovely Swedish hand-painted Secretary Desk. The Gustavian style piece is finished in a mint green with mustard colored birds, greenery and French Blue ribbons. The design elements also include flora botanicals and Cabriole legs. Inside the fold-down desk top are cubby holes for organizing your papers. The desk sits atop two large storage drawers. Behind the solid wood cabinet doors on the top are three shelves. The secretary is two pieces for ease of transport. The back side is also finished in the mint green. The top cabinet has a beautifully ornate crown. Please Note: the secretary is mint green, but a shade more blue than the photos show. With florescent lighting, it’s casting a yellow light that photographs slightly more green than in person.
