This is a very rare design for Fresh Nd Aire let alone for a standard box fan. At first glance it looks like a standard window fan with the dual blades, however the stand holes on the sides, handle, and nameplate show that this fan is meant to be kept vertical which is a VERY uncommon design for any box fan let alone a Fresh Nd Aire. Along with the odd design the fan was kept in good/very good condition eith only some light scratching/scuffing on beige exterior. The fan is entirely metal. The grates are a slightly darker painted beige from the box. The sticker showing the model number fell off so I do not know the exact model # and there are no other information I could find showing this fan is online. The fan works on both speeds. Low speed is very quiet. High speed has a very little rattle sometimes but seems to vanish after it’s been left on for a while. I’m unsure if the thermostat control works- the fans kick on when it’s dialed into 4, 5, or high and kick off on the lower settings. Few marks on the blades with no bends or dents anywhere. Seems to be well balanced also. Rust spots are tiny and insignificant at most. Both motors are made by Redmond Inc. Blades both spin freely. Cord looks to be original with no dry rot or cracks/tape. Gromit still in place. All 4 rubber feet still present on the underside(2 very mildly starting to dry rot). Overall this was a very well cared for fan that likely sat in a collection for a long time.
