Antique Vintage Century 16 inch Brass Blade Electric Fan Restored. The fan was completely restored. The motor was taken apart rotor and stator cleaned bearings cleaned and oiled. The 100 year old grease was taken out of the gearbox and new fresh grease packed in. The fan was thoroughly cleaned and all the metal and brass repolished. The paint is original. Some touch up has been done in the past. I left the original head wire since it was in excellent condition and did not need to be replaced. A new power cord was installed. EL 600 electrical varnish was applied to all the electrics to seal and protect and insulate. A coat of Tung oil varnish was applied to all surfaces to seal and to make the paint shiny and pretty. This is a 5 speed fan. All speeds work beautifully. The fan oscillates the way it should. The fan works amazing moves in enormous amount of air. The most amazing beautiful fan I’ve worked on!
