There is a possibility that you may have to adjust the shaft and/or gear holes to line up with your new gear so the pin will fit through. 4 Oscillator wheel vertical collar adjustment. Make sure your wheel is exactly centered with the worm axis for the longest service life. Check the brass collar set screw for tightness every so often if you run your fan a lot.
