1920’s Art Nouveau Vintage Antique Revo 2 Speed Oscillating Electric Fan. Revo 2 speed true oscillating desk fan at least 99 years old i believe. This is an original fan not a reproduction. It has a 12 fan blade. It has been completely stripped down, cleaned, lubricated and rebuilt. It has been totally re-wired and earthed and earth continuity and PAT checked. The paintwork has been removed down to the bare metal; it has been primed then re-sprayed in a period style black and gold paint. The fan blades were so rusty that they have been stripped cleaned and painted gold to give that brass looking effect. The fan has been run for many hours on both speeds, oscillating and none oscillating. There is also a band been added to stop the electric cable from hitting the blades when in use -I would not remove this. Low speed is the furtherest back and high speed is anything in front of that. It blows quite a lot of air around does this one so great for these hot summer days. Its simply because the blades and the cage were painted gold.
