Hello you are purchasing a Rare Antique 1899 Emerson FI 1 Tripod Electric Brass Blade Desk Fan. All parts on it are original, this fan has not been tested, and i believe the cage on it is original. The fan needs restoration, as the cord is not functional, and i have no way to test to see if the motor will even work. The Switch does turn smoothly on back. All measuremenrts are approximate : The Blades measure approximate 10″ in diameter(and rotor smoothly with no grinding noises), the back measures from back to top 11 1/2″ tall. Tripod base is 6 in diameter. Base motor with cast iron housing is 7 1/4 in diameter. The Cage measures 14 in diameter, and appears to be made out of brass heavy gauge wire. The top of brass manufacture plate reads : The Emerson Electrical Mfg. (March 7-93 June 21-98 Jan 24-99 ____) No. 36462 Class FI 1 Volts 110 Watts 62 for 7,200 Alts. This is a rare fan, and to some emerson collectors consider it the holy grail of all the emerson fan ever made. The Fan will be double boxed to insure it arrives safely to you.
