Guard measures about 10 wide. Fan does work, has one speed. When tilted back so air blows up the blade hits the guard but when straight it doesn’t hit the guard. Probably from the 1930’s. There is a little damage to the blades from hitting the guard. The nose/blades moves back and forth about 1/4, don’t know if made that way or not. Doesn’t make any noise when running.
